Front Entrance Perennial Planting 2011 at Amherst State Park

    I want to give a great big "THANK YOU" to the folks who worked unbelievingly hard today to get the perennials in the ground. All together, we planted 98 potted plants (gallon size) and 11 + flats of young perennials. In addition another 2 cubic yards of compost was moved onto the Pump Wall Garden. Now, that's what I call effort!

    Next summer we will be creating several more gardens along the winding walkway. Hopefully we will this type of continued effort and commitment when that project begins.
